Altered Book & Visual Journaling
Come learn a fun way to repurpose old books that you no longer want to read. Learn to reuse an old book as the foundation for a visual journal. Recreate a book into a work of art that is made of several small, personal works of art.
Together we will learn how to deconstruct a book and reconstruct it through collage, drawing, painting and the written word. And all the while we will be recycling materials!
This is a fun and rewarding process that does not require previous art making skill or training.
Participants will walk away with their very own art book, a repurposed book that will be the beginning of their personal journey into visual journaling.
